Enjoy Facebook and “Appear” Offline

Want to check Facebook without “announcing” you’re online?

Sometimes we want to catch up on Facebook News, but just don’t have time to “visit”.

It’s simple to take yourself “offline” while surfing Facebook.

From your “HomePage” (not your “Profile” page)…  click on “Chat”

Then click on “Options” and “Go Offline”

Notes:

1. Return to “online (visible) status by clicking on “Chat” again. You are automatically back online.
2. You remain Offline until you make that change – even if you log-off and log-in again.
